Hurricane Hannah

hurricane Hannah finally arrived.

i guess besides the fact that my personally chosen namesake killed over 60 people i was happy that the rains came.

of course, according to the NY times i was never that much of a threat... its mean 'old Ike the Carolina kids are worried about

very typical. i finally get a storm and its showed up by another dude.

i still feel vindicated however because when i was younger (i mean... not that long ago really) i used to sing 'rain rain go away' and believe in my awesome and almighty powers of weather control.

and when X men came out.... go Storm, although her powers were severely disappointing in all honesty, i think she was a little too excited about lightning which is really not what controlling the weather is all about.

there is nothing better than a day at the beach in the hot hot sun. this is the time when the air smells like strawberries and the scratchy sand sticks to your sweaty skin ready to be washed off in the cool waters.

or when your sad and it rains. no matter how sad you really are you cant help but admit to beautiful irony. its intoxicating. i know at one point everyone has had the conceited moment where they watch their own tears trickle down to the beat of the falling rain.

i always thought there was a true and distinct romance to the weather and now its named Hannah
